Ayashi's Review : This is another "Host Club"movie. "Gira Gira" seems to be better :D . The drama tells a tale of a young graduated guy who has yet to know his true calling. While helping his friend, he ends up being a Host. Interesting to see how he challenges himself to the limit. In this drama, you'll admire him being stimulated by rejection even for many times. This leads him to be someone recognized by Society and successful at young age.

Ayashi's Review : Our Marvel superhero is back in action! Looks like to me... Wherever ironman is, troubles will follow... In this film, he seems to abuse using the ironman suit for mishievous & personal fun. Its existence has also upset the Government Senator which catergorized ironman as an unacceptable weapon and should hand over to military. Overall good movie for the year, but still personally think that Part 1 is better?

Truly admire Master Ip being a down-to-earth attitude type of person. A very meaningful film that is based on Chinese true history. And that's where Bruce Lee came about. Must watch movies!

Anime - Kaidan Restaurant (怪談レストラン)

The official website for Toei Animation's television adaptation of the Kaidan Restaurant (Thriller Restaurant) horror storybook series has opened with a 15-second promotional video. (In the linked page, select the television icon on the bottom.) The anime will premiere on October 13.

Each episode will consist of three stories or "dishes": the appetizer, the main dish, and dessert. The first two "dishes" will deal with an ordinary sixth-grade schoolgirl named Ako Ōzora and the bizarre occurrences that befall her and her classmates. The third "dish" will be a standalone short ghost story told by Ako and her friends.

Miyoko Matsutani (Maegami-Taro, Mizu no Tane, Taro the Dragon Boy) has been editing the books since 1996 with illustrations by Yoshikazu Takai and Kumiko Kato, and Doshinsha has published over seven million copies so far. Yoko Ikeda is directing the anime version, and Shoji Yonemura (Guin Saga, Glass Fleet, Stitch!) is supervising the scripts.

A transfer student who is having the same class with Ako. Even without the help from his friends he can still handle things by his own. Loves horror stories, and research about the horror information all around the world.

Ako Ouzora
A primary student in YamaSakura School. Nickname is "あんこ"(Japanese sweet beans?)Loves to daydreaming and her dream is to become a adventure novelist. Dislikes scary stories, but full of curiosity which can't help checking the truth.

Phobia 2

Phobia 2(of course a horror movie), I loving it ^_^ and makes me more exciting was that me and my friends were watching it in the cinema(splendid scary effect).

In my opinion, the first Phobia wasn't good at all. The first one has the 4 stories in it, and which is why the nick name was '4bia' a.k.a Phobia. However, effect wasn't that good, not too much good storyline at all and most importantly is, not scary.

But after watching Phobia 2, I got to say that I really enjoyed it with my friends which makes me believe most of the Thailand horror movies have a very good storyline.

Phobia 2 is dissected into 5 shorts stories; Novice, Ward, Backpackers, Salvage, and In The End. Below is the details of each stories from wikipedia.

Novice - a Film by Paween Purijitpanya
The story focusing on a 14 year old; Pey, who has committed a crime Pa-Hin (throwing rocks) (being on the motorcycle throwing rocks to the cars windshield waiting for the car to crashed then steal money and other valuable items from the owner) and in order to keep the news low his mom decided that Pey must get ordained to become a buddhist novice to escape the crime he committed, under the guise of a monk, Pey remains unnoticed as a criminal. However, something deep down inside is bothering him. As he spend the night in the woods trying to meditate something is bothering him, his thoughts and something else. The grip of fear tightens as he realizes that 'Karma' has no friend or foe when deciding a man's fate or fortune.

I.M.O.- I somehow can felt and imagine the sorrow of the boy who regret so much of what he had did and caused the accident. It wasn't really a good ending for this, but it sends us a message related about 'Karma'. You cannot run away from 'Karma' if you're carrying a sin which you can't even face it... what am I trying to explain? Nvm...

Ward - a film by Visute Poolvoralaks
Arthit; a playful teenager crashes his bike and breaks both legs. At the hospital he has been moved from the ER room to a shared room. In the room, there is an old man in a coma who has been waiting for almost a month for his family to decide to pull the plug on his oxygen. What happens that night will make Arthit realize that being alone is always better that being around bad company.

I.M.O.- This drives me, a little bit sleepy. It just has those shocking sound all of a sudden and doesn't have much story at all.

Backpackers - a film by Songyos Sugmakanan
Upon graduation, a young Japanese couple decided to travel around Thailand by backpacking. After failed attempts to hitchhike from Samui island to Bangkok, the boyfriend waves a 1,000 Baht note in hopes to entice passing cars to pick them up. What is hiding inside the truck's trailer? Is there something deeper and darker that lurks behind the kind smiling face of the truck driver who lets them hop in? The answers to these questions will cause an adrenalin rush like no other.

I.M.O.- Zombies from Hong Kong, US and China I've seen it all, but not for Thailand -.- And this is the first time I'd see those zombies can run faster than a van. Quite scary, isn't it?

Salvage - a film by Parkpoom Wongpoom
Nuch is a car dealer. She makes her living by rebuilding severely damaged cars. But little do unsuspecting bargain hunters know, beneath the new upholstery and shiny repainted exteriors are cars with horror pasts. One night after closing the car garage she discovers her son is missing. Reviewing the security camera tapes she sees her son climb inside a car that she recently bought but nowhere on tapes has him climbing out "Cemetary Garage" where you drive off with more that you bargained for.

I.M.O.- This is the one which freak me out amongst the rest. The best scene was when all the luxury cars which had repaired and looks like a brand new cars suddenly turned to a crashed cars in a blink of an eyes. It freak me out because I'm using a secondhand car, -.- touch wood first.

In The End - a film by Banjong Pisanthanakun
Ter, Puak, Shin and Aey are the movie crew of an upcoming horror movie. They are shooting their last scene. On the last night, Puak is trying to be cool and tells one of the sick cast members that, "the show must go on". So when that actress accidentally dies during the filming she makes sure to come back from the dead to finish her role. The four of them must shoot the movie that has a real ghost playing the role of ghost in the end. and the main actress must not know about this.

I.M.O. - Extremely funny and one of the most creative horror movie I've seen. It's a hormedy (horror + comedy). Widely recommend to everyone, even to those who doesn't like horror at all.

Roadside Got Ghost (with Spoiler):
Swindlers Cai, Fu and Shou devise a new scam - using a hotline to make random calls to people, promising them fortune. Those who win the lottery are required to pay commission to Cai or be scared into submission. This initially works and the three set up a company, which was largely successful. One day, Cai receives a phone call. The caller gives Cai deploying the same hotline trick. Believing it to be a competitor, Cai naturally disregards the call, but goes ahead and tries his luck with the given number anyway. To his surprise, he wins. On his way home, a pale faced man suddenly confronts him and asked him why didn't he pay the commission. After teasing the man and refusing to pay, the man threatened that Cai will be killed by a car. Although Fu and Shou starts to get nervous, Cai just laughed and ran into the middle of the road, proving that he won't be killed. Ignoring the pleas or Fu and Shou not to act like a mad man, he really gets killed, being crushed by a car. As Cai is dying, the driver of the car was revealed to be a spirit who tells Cai never to eat her oranges again. Cai realised he had been turned into a scapegoat after Fu and Shou took oranges from a burial, which angered the spirit. Fu and Shou gets frightened out of their wits and ran away, leaving Cai behind. In the ending scene, oranges starts to get attracted to Cai, leaving an orange background and a dead Cai in the middle.

Forest Got Ghost:
Nan and Lei return for army reservists' training. They learn that the place they will be sent is the widely known 'haunted hill', so they take the short cut. Suddenly, the 'haunted hill' seems to come alive - tombstones, red dress spirit and other strange sightings. Then it rains. Nan and Lei seek refuge at Yin Yin's house, a girl they just met. Little do they know their road to hell has been cut short...

House Got Ghost: It is the Lunar 7th Month, weird sightings happen at home, children can only think it is the late mother's doings. The truth slowly surface as they begin their road trip only this time it seems to be more than what they bargain for...

Storyline
The story started off with a human teenager (Natsume) desperately running off towards a temple while being chased by ghost in the forest.

Flashback showed a boy has the ability for seeing spirit and ghost. It was believed he inherited such from his grandma (Reiko's). Because of his cursed ability, people see him as creepy and weird, including his own biological parents.

His loneliness and hatred was later saved by Reiko's Book of Friends which contains a list of spirit names being defeated by Reiko in the past. Mixture of comedy & touching scenes ... This movie focuses more onto teenagers hardship at high school and how problems keep coming and getting worst. But Mike encourage his children that it's not end of the world; it's the beginning of life. These are very true indeed.

Although, I might admit this Anime actually has silly storyline but... it never fail to entertain me. The comedy never cease. Each episode is getting funnier and crazier. As mentioned above, this Anime is in the Edo period, meaning it's before Year 1868, and yet they have crazy high-technology things.

Highly recommended. Rating: 9/10.
P/S: Gintama will make u laugh like there's no tomorrow! :D

A must watch to all Final Fantasy fans. This is a new Remake / Complete Version of Advent Children with extra scenes included, more action & more bloodshed. I'm surprise to see parts of Crisis Core and Denzel Episode are included in between this movie. Reno-san is still very attractive to me ^^. Another compliment to be noted is the dirt & blood effect on the chara faces, which have none in previous Advent Children. Very well-made CG movie. Love it!

The real funny action comes when the stores are evacuated by robbers. He is about to escape when he realized Amy has been captured by the robbers as one of the hostages. He has two choices, i.e.: to escape and leave everything up to the Police OR to be the Hero for the night?

Initially, both of their few meetings end up with misunderstandings but gradually they becomes good friends and eventually special relationship between them grow!

However towards the ending, Chi Long tries his very best to avoid her for her sake...

Race To Witch Mountain

Plot :

Race to Witch Mountain is actually a re-imagining of the 1975 film Escape to Witch Mountain(no wonder the name sounds kinda 'fishy' for me...). Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson and yes, did you smell what The Rock is cooking?) is a cab driver in Las Vegas, who is picking up and dropping off passengers to the UFO convention at the Planet Hollywood Casino and Hotel. One of his passengers is Dr. Alex Friedman (Carla Gugino), a failed scientist who is giving speeches about legitimate scientific theories of UFOs and outer space.

The next day Bruno is approached by two large men telling him that Wolff would like to see him. After fighting them, Bruno drives off, later noticing two children, Sara (AnnaSophia Robb) and Seth (Alexander Ludwig) sitting in the back seat of the cab. They tell him they need to go to a certain destination and are willing to pay all they have ($15,000) to get there. They lead him to a run down house in the middle of nowhere. Meanwhile, Major Henry Burke (Ciaran Hinds) is searching for information on the two aliens that landed some days earlier.

When they arrive at the house, the children tell Bruno that they will be re-united with their relatives soon. Before leaving Bruno hears a crash coming from the house. He is startled to find them hiding behind a couch. Though grateful for his concern, the children tell him they must continue their journey without him, as they can trust no one. Nevertheless, Bruno decides to follow them, which leads him to the basement of the house. There the kids are pursued and attacked by a strange creature as they retrieve an object in a plant. They manage to escape this creature, a creature "Siphon" which built to destroy a certain target.

The funny part is, there are stars from the original 1975 movie, Disney's Escape to Witch Mountain—Kim Richards and Ike Eisenmann—have small roles in this new movie. Kim originally played Tia and Ike played Tony in the first movie. In Race to Witch Mountain, Kim is the waitress, Tina, who helps Jack and the kids escape from the restaurant, and Ike (now going by the name Iake Eisenmann) is Sheriff Antony, whom Jack uses to delay the government agents so they can get out of the restaurant without being caught. Another Disney cameo is made by actress Meredith Salenger. She starred in the well-reviewed 1985 Disney movie The Journey of Natty Gann. In a reference to that movie, a female reporter in Race to Witch Mountain is played by Salenger and identifies herself as reporter "Natalie Gann".

On the left, that's Kim Richards acted as Tia in Escape to Witch Mountain and right is a waitress in Race To Witch Mountain.

Ike Eisenmann acted Tony on the left and he acted as Sheriff Antony on the right.

Overall: 8.5/10

Highly recommended movie which I believe most of us will enjoy in the cinema. I'd just watch it in the cinema which I thought it was good but surprisingly my brother don't feel that excited like I do. Anyway, just go watch it.

Synopsis
Allen Walker, a 15 yrs old child was born into the World with a deformed left arm. Abandoned by his parents due to such, he has been adopted by Mana Walker ever since.
One day, Mana Walker died. Feeling in great despair & confusion, Allen mistakenly revives Mana to the living world with the help of Millennium Earl. However, Mana soul was binded inside a monster-form called "Akuma", which do not have control on its own. At the moment when Millennium Earl ordered the Akuma to kill Allen, his left arm "Innocence" activated as "Akuma Anti-Weapon" and accidentally killed Mana. Before Mana dies, he curses Allen's left eye which gives him the ability to see souls inside Akuma.

After that dreadful incident, Allen comes to understand that Millennium Earl has been trying to trick those who have lost their loved ones to build an army of Akuma for his own purposes. Allen decides to stop him at all cost and is later trained by a Master, becoming an Exorcist at a secret organization called Black Order which only aim is to stop Millennium Earl's plan.

Can Allen stop him before the World destruction by his Akuma army? Would he be able to free the souls trapped inside the Akuma?

Its story plot is very exciting from beginning till end. The continuous fighting and miracle happenings definitely won't get you bored. Not to mention some of their hilarious scene + well-drawn anime chara. Love their cawaii chibi chara version. A worth set of anime for collection.

Gorgeous! Gorgeous!! Such a devoted lover ♥ ♥
This drama includes a mixture of romance & comedy. Thus, I do not find any romance scene bored me at all. I'm very tempted to re-watch the whole drama again soon (:
P/S: Riko-san room is full of cawaii stuffs. Awesome!
By the way, do check out the nice main theme, Okaeri sung by Ayaka.

Synopsis
This drama is based on a hit manga.

Nanase Kohei played as a role of a married man in a happy family of 3. However, such happiness was about to end. The Incredible Hulk is a 2008 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character the Hulk. It is directed by Louis Leterrier and stars Edward Norton as Dr. Bruce Banner/the Hulk. It is not a sequel to Hulk (2003), but rather a reboot that establishes a new back-story where Banner became the Hulk as an unwitting pawn in a military scheme to reinvigorate the supersoldier program through gamma radiation. On the run, he attempts to cure himself of the Hulk before he is captured by General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (William Hurt), but his worst fears are realized when power-hungry soldier Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) becomes the Abomination. Liv Tyler also stars as Betty Ross, Banner's girlfriend and General Ross's daughter.

If you a Marvel comic fan, I'm sure you know who is Stan Lee. Surprisingly, he appeared in this movie as a victim who drank the bottle of the soda which accidentally contains one drop of blood from Banner.

Regret to say this anime is kinda disappointing to me eventhough it looks so promising. Too many emotions going on in the anime which make it looks lengthy, complicated & confusing.

Overall Synopsis
White swindlers (shirosagi) are those that cheat people to take their money, red swindlers (akasagi) are those that swindle the opposite sex, and black swindlers (kurosagi) are those that cheat the white and red swindlers.
After Kurosaki family is swindled by white swindlers, he sets out to avenge them by becoming a black swindler (i.e.: con artist). He works with the master swindler Katsuragi Toshio (Yamazaki Tsutomu), also known as Don in the World of Swindle, eventhough Toshio treat him merely as one of his favourite chess game piece.

I have only touched on both Kurosagi's Drama & Movie.
The Drama gives a twisted & unpredictable ending. I insist to watch these due to I find their con tactics and strategies are very interesting. BUT this doesn't mean I wanna get involve in such profession!
